According to reports, Maruti Suzuki can introduce this car with its in-house developed HEV (Strong Hybrid) engine technology. It can be provided with a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Z-series petrol engine, which will mainly work as a generator and charge its battery. Thanks to this series-hybrid technology, this SUV may be able to give bumper mileage of 35 to 40 kilometers per liter. Apart from this, in terms of safety, premium safety features like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) suite and 360-degree camera can also be added for the first time.

Currently the ex-showroom price of Maruti Front starts from Rs 6.85 lakh and goes up to Rs 11.98 lakh. Due to new cosmetic updates, new interior layout and addition of advanced features like ADAS, there may be a slight increase in the prices of its regular variants. At the same time, if its strong hybrid variant is launched, its ex-showroom price is expected to be between Rs 12.5 lakh to Rs 15 lakh.
