Maruti Suzuki's big preparations for electric vehicles! See what will be the new electric SUV?

After the implementation of GST 2.0 last year, the demand for Maruti Suzuki's small cars saw a huge improvement. Between October 2025 and January 2026, the company had recorded a year-on-year growth of 13 percent in demand. However, rising production costs and external factors forced the company to take this step.

Maruti Suzuki is currently gearing up to launch many of its new cars in the market. These include the upcoming Baleno facelift and a 7-seater electric MPV codenamed 'YMC'. So the customers who want to buy a new car now have to consider an increased budget.
