Massive fire broke out in Mumbai's labor camp, 7 gas cylinders exploded, created chaos.

Mumbai News: A massive fire suddenly broke out in a labor camp in Tata Colony of Mulund East in Mumbai, Maharashtra on Thursday. This camp is located in the project premises prepared for the rehabilitation of displaced families from Dharavi. The camp is built in the G+1 framework. After the fire spread, a large number of workers living there came out to save their lives, which created chaos in the area.

Fear of explosion in gas cylinder

According to preliminary information, the cause of the fire is likely to be explosion in a gas cylinder. Zonal DCP said that till now information about seven gas cylinder explosions has come to light. However, investigation is underway to find out the actual cause of the fire.

15 fire engines reached the spot

After receiving information about the fire, around 15 fire engines, ambulances, Navghar police and senior police officers reached the spot. Fire brigade teams were busy extinguishing the fire and bringing the situation under control. According to the zonal DCP, all the people present in the camp have been evacuated safely. At present there is no information about any death or injury.

Last month a tourist bus also caught fire

Last month, an incident of fire in a tourist bus on the Western Express Highway in Goregaon West area was reported in Mumbai. The bus was standing near the signal below Goregaon metro station. Due to the dense smoke rising after the fire, there was chaos at the metro station and passengers were asked to get down from the station.

On receiving information about the incident, fire department, police, 108 ambulance and metro officials reached the spot. Due to the fire, there was a huge traffic jam on the Western Express Highway. It was told that after a technical fault, the driver had got down from the bus and after this the fire spread in the bus along with the explosion. It is a matter of relief that there was no casualty in this incident and the fire team brought the fire under control.
