Matrimony Q1 Profit Doubles YoY To ₹19 Cr, Revenue up 13%

Matrimony’s Q1 FY27 net profit more than doubled YoY to ₹19.1 Cr, while operating revenue rose 13% to ₹130.5 Cr

The matchmaking platform’s strong profit growth came alongside higher revenue and paid subscriber additions, while expenses remained largely flat

Matrimony added 2.72 Lakh paid subscribers in Q1 FY27, pushing matchmaking billing up 8% YoY to ₹135.3 Cr, while revenue from the segment grew 14% to ₹129.5 Cr

Listed matchmaking platform Matrimony’s consolidated net profit for Q1 FY27 skyrocketed 2.2X YoY to ₹19.1 Cr from ₹8.4 Cr in the year-ago quarter. On a sequential basis, profit surged 96% from ₹9.7 Cr in Q4 FY26.

Operating revenue rose 13% YoY and 12% QoQ to ₹130.5 Cr in  the quarter under review. In this, revenue from the matchmaking business grew 14% YoY to ₹129.5 Cr.

With the addition of 2.72 Lakh new paid subscribers in the quarter, the company’s matchmaking business’ billing for the quarter increased 8% YoY to ₹135.3 Cr.

Including other income of ₹6.6 Cr, the company’s total income for the quarter stood at ₹137.1 Cr. Meanwhile, total expenses for the quarter remained largely flat on YoY basis to ₹111.9 Cr.
