Matthew Perry’s close friend has shared his thoughts on his late friend who passed away in 2023.
Almost three years after his passing, Matthew is still remembered as a high-spirited comedian and one of the friends.
His friend, Tim Harrington, shared how they met in recovery and Matthew changed his life for good.
Speaking on ITV’s This Morning, he said “You can be going through a very hard time and still be there for other people.”
He said “And I think that’s really his legacy.”
Tim added “I think sometimes people forget that someone can be having a terribly hard time in their own life and still make an extraordinary difference in someone else’s.”
Explaining Matthew’s effect on his life, he said “Matty changed the direction of my life not once, but twice, and he wasn’t a man who had everything figured out.”
He said the late actor was just trying to “find his own way”.
The actor, who played Chandler Bing on the sitcom Friendspassed away on October 28, 2023 after he was found lifeless in his bath tub in Los Angeles.
