Party supremo Mayawati has appointed Ishan Anand as the national convenor of BSP. Earlier this responsibility was with his elder brother Akash Anand, but now this important post has been handed over to Ishaan. Why was Akash Anand removed
Now the question arises that why Akash Anand was removed from this responsibility. Actually, before Ishaan, his elder brother Akash Anand was the national coordinator of the party, but on September 3, Mayawati removed him from this post. At that time Mayawati had said that Akash still needs to mature more politically. After this, on September 10, Mayawati completely expelled Akash from the party.
Mayawati had also openly expressed her displeasure with Akash's father-in-law and former Rajya Sabha MP Ashok Siddharth. He had alleged that Ashok Siddharth gave more importance to his family than the interests of the party. Not only this, Mayawati had also said that Akash did not re-share her social media post in which Ashok Siddharth was asked to completely retire from politics. Mayawati had raised questions by directly linking this to Akash's attitude towards the party.
