On the instructions of State Project Office, Lucknow, in collaboration with Basic Education Department and Medical Department, a medical camp was organized for issuing disability certificate at Block Resource Center (BRC), Eka on Wednesday, 19 August 2026. The objective of the camp was to provide Disability Certificate (UDID) to children with special needs studying in classes 01 to 08 in council and secondary schools.
The team of the Medical Board constituted by the Chief Medical Officer examined the children who reached the camp. A total of 53 children were registered in the camp. After examination by the medical board, disability certificates were issued to 24 children, while 11 children were referred for further medical examination.
In the medical camp, children and their parents were also given information about the importance of disability certificate and various government facilities available through it. Departmental officials said that through such camps, children with special needs are being provided necessary certificates and are being helped in availing the benefits of government schemes.
Medical Board team was present
Dr. Akash Gautam, Dr. Durg Pratap Singh, Dr. Alka Aggarwal and audiologist Shivang Pathak were present in the medical board team. Necessary examination and testing of the children was done by the team. Block Education Officer Shrikant Patel along with special educators Kripashankar Verma, Dinesh Singh, Subhash Chandra, Sarvesh Kumar, Naveen Chaturvedi, Anil Singh and Suresh Yadav had special contribution in making the program successful.
