The company has introduced new agentic features, with the help of which Meta AI will no longer be limited to just answering questions. Now it will also be able to complete multi-step tasks on behalf of the user. That is, once given instructions, AI will itself handle the further process and try to complete the assigned work.
Currently this feature has been launched in select countries on Meta AI app and Meta AI website. The company says that these features will also be made available on WhatsApp in the coming few weeks.
Preparing research and reports will be easy
After the new update, Meta AI will be able to prepare the gist of a topic by understanding the information available on the internet, research papers and content available on Meta’s platform. This will reduce the time spent by students, professionals and content creators in searching for information in different places.
Users can entrust AI with the task of preparing reports or collecting information on any topic. If needed, AI will also be able to update that report further.
Will also give daily updates and reminders
Meta AI will now also be able to send necessary updates on time. Users can set up daily briefings, weekly updates or regular updates on a specific topic as per their choice.
It will also help highlight schedule conflicts in the calendar, summarize the day’s work, and share important updates from time to time. For example, users can get regular information about new gadget launches, sports, stock market, weather or any other favorite topic.
Presentation will be created directly from the report
The new feature of Meta AI is not limited to just gathering information. Now AI will also be able to convert the prepared report into presentation slides. If users want to change the tone, design, focus or structure of a presentation while creating it, they will be able to make changes by giving instructions in real time.
Apart from this, reports, presentations, training plans and other files generated by AI will be saved in one place, so that they can be easily reused or shared when needed.
