He urged Indian cricket to carefully manage the development of this young player, and suggested that the batsman already has the necessary skills to compete in T20 Internationals. “Give him time to develop in other formats, because he is only 15. He will be playing the next T20I for India or at least will definitely be in the team. You will see him in a lot of Indian teams, just for the experience of traveling with the team, being around senior players, and training in different conditions around the world. He is already good enough to play in the shortest format for India. He is good enough to play in all three formats and for India in all of them. Will be good enough to dominate. In the second qualifier, he did not have ideal batting conditions. He showed the awareness of the game and not just to hit a six in the powerplay. Clarke concluded.
