Heavy rains have been predicted in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka for the next seven days. Rains have already lashed several districts of Kerala and there is a possibility of heavy rains in some areas. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Alappuzha, Kottayam and Ernakulam districts. These areas can receive 11 to 20 cm of rain.

When will monsoon arrive in Maharashtra?
