The ongoing proxy war in West Asia has now turned into a completely direct and destructive military confrontation. Following the attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz and the US action, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has launched massive missile and suicide drone attacks simultaneously targeting US military bases spread across Jordan, Kuwait, Iraq and Bahrain. Immediately after this fierce aggression, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) and the Air Force retaliated and caused major damage by launching pin-point missile strikes on more than 10 important targets including strategic centers, radar stations, command bases and weapons depots in Tehran. This face-to-face missile war between the two countries has brought the entire Gulf region to a standstill. Precise cruise missiles fired from US fighter aircraft and warships destroyed 10 key Iranian military targets located in the capital Tehran and southern coastal areas: Command and Early Warning Radar Sites: The IRGC's air defense network and main early warning radar centers located on the outskirts of Tehran were destroyed. Drones and missile launching pads: Underground bunkers and launch pads located in western and southern Iran were targeted from where missiles were fired at American targets. Littoral Naval Capabilities: Destroyed maritime assets, mine-laying boats and communications centers near Bandar Abbas and Larak Island that posed a threat to merchant shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. President Trump's ultimatum: 'Iran will cease to exist' US President Donald Trump and the Central Command have confirmed these attacks and given a final warning to the Tehran regime. Trump said in clear words that if Iran continues to attack US troops in the Gulf countries, allied countries or civilian ships in international waterways, then America will strike so hard that Iran will have no way to save its own existence. The US Department of Defense has activated 100% of its missile defense shield (THAAD and Patriot systems) in the region. The uproar in the international crude oil market and the closure of airspace, the impact of America and Iran entering into direct war is immediately visible at the global level. The routes of civilian aircraft passing over Hormuz and the Gulf region have been diverted with immediate effect. Airlines have stopped flights from the airspace of Kuwait, Iraq and Jordan.
