A milch (pregnant) buffalo died due to electric shock during storm and rain in Redvigaha village of Dhanrua police station area. The farmer has suffered huge financial loss due to this incident.

According to the information received, farmer Dhananjay Kumar (father Mannu Yadav) had kept his buffalo tied in the house after feeding it fodder as usual. Meanwhile, due to sudden strong storm and rain, there was a fault in the power line, due to which electric current spread near the house and the buffalo got caught in it. The buffalo died on the spot due to electric shock.

Villagers say that the problem of dilapidated electricity wires and open connections has persisted in the area for a long time. During storms, wires often break or current spreads in them, due to which such incidents keep happening.

Local people have demanded from the electricity department to immediately replace the dilapidated wires and improve the security system, so that such incidents can be avoided in future.
