Mission 2027: Mayawati’s masterstroke, strategy to connect upper caste poor with Dalits, BSP’s strong counterattack on opponents’ propaganda
digital desk- Bahujan Samaj Party has started laying its political chessboard for the upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. On the instructions of BSP supremo Mayawati, the party is now working on a big strategy of bringing together the exploited, the victims and the poor and neglected section of the upper caste society under the policy of ‘Sarvajan Hitaya and Sarvajan Sukhay’ and not just limited to Dalits. Meanwhile, BSP has hit back sharply at the alleged misleading propaganda being spread by the media and opposition parties regarding the selection and financial support of party candidates.
A party that runs on its own people and not on capitalists.
In the statement issued by the BSP leadership, it has been clearly said that Bahujan Samaj Party does not run on the instructions and support of big capitalists or rich people like other political parties. This is an honest Ambedkarite party following the paths shown by Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, which is moving forward entirely on the strength of the body, mind and money of its workers. The party alleged that this growing support base of BSP is not digesting the narrow, casteist and communal forces, hence conspiracies are being hatched as the elections approach.
What is the truth about ticket distribution and court-like cross-examination?
BSP has clarified its position on the questions being raised by a section of the media on the selection of candidates. According to the party, at present UP State Unit President Vishwanath Pal and other officials are working day and night in preparing the probable list of candidates for the upcoming elections and conducting their concrete screening. Strict cross-examination (questions and answers) is being conducted like a court to test the social, political and economic status of the leaders claiming the ticket as well as their loyalty and durability towards the party. BSP has appealed that instead of seeing it in a negative light, it should be seen as the internal strength of the party. It was also made clear that the financial assistance received is spent within the legal limits only to ensure the victory of the candidates.
Opponents lose sleep, appeal to workers not to be misled
BSP has requested its workers and office-bearers not to fall prey to any sponsored propaganda or rumors of the opposition parties. The party claimed that seeing the ground preparations of BSP for ‘Mission 2027’, there is panic and unrest in the opposition camp, due to which such propaganda is being carried out.
