Congress MP Rahul Gandhi wrote in X Post on Monday, “Modi ji asked for sacrifices from the public yesterday – do not buy gold, do not go abroad, burn less petrol, reduce fertilizers and cooking oil, ride the metro, work from home. These are not sermons – these are evidence of failure.” He further wrote, “In 12 years, the country has been brought to such a stage that it has to be told to the public – what to buy, what not to buy, where to go, where not to go. Every time they put the responsibility on the public so that they themselves can escape accountability. Running the country is no longer in the power of the Compromised PM.”
