India scored 462 runs in the first innings
In the Galle Test match being played with Sri Lanka, good batting was seen from India in the first innings. Star batsman Devdutt Padikkal played an inning of 167 runs for Team India. At the same time, only 2 batsmen of India could reach half-century.
KL Rahul scored 82 runs and Dhruv Jurel played a half-century innings of 51 runs.
