Lucknow. The weather patterns have started changing in Uttar Pradesh. After a long wait, monsoon activity has now increased. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding heavy rain, storm and thunder in many parts of the state. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of good rain in many districts of Uttar Pradesh in the coming days. Due to rain, people can get relief from scorching heat and heat wave.
There will be a big drop in temperature
According to meteorologists, after the start of rain, a drop in the maximum temperature of the state may be recorded. The temperature is likely to drop by 2 to 10 degrees Celsius in many areas. This will provide relief to the people suffering from the heat and the weather may become pleasant.
Orange alert issued in these districts
The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in view of heavy rain and thunderstorm in many districts. These include districts like Mirzapur, Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Chitrakoot, Banda, Mahoba, Jhansi, Bahraich, Shravasti, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Gonda, Balrampur, Basti, Sant Kabirnagar, Gorakhpur, Deoria, Kushinagar, Ballia, Ghazipur, Mau, Azamgarh, Jaunpur, Chandauli, Lalitpur, Varanasi and Ambedkarnagar. There is a possibility of strong winds and lightning along with heavy rain in these areas.
Yellow alert issued in these districts
The Meteorological Department has also issued yellow alert for some other districts. There is a possibility of rain and thunderstorm in many districts including Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Shahjahanpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Fatehpur, Rae Bareli, Amethi, Sultanpur, Barabanki, Sitapur, Badaun, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Rampur, Moradabad, Sambhal, Bijnor, Muzaffarnagar, Shamli and Saharanpur.
Important time for farmers
Monsoon rains can bring relief to farmers. Good rain is considered very important for sowing of Kharif crops. However, in areas with heavy rainfall, farmers have been advised to take farming decisions keeping the weather in mind.
People advised to be cautious
Along with rain, there will be danger of storm and lightning. The Meteorological Department has appealed to the people to be cautious during bad weather.
