Monsoon has once again become fully active in Rajasthan and the weather pattern has completely changed. According to the Meteorological Department, today i.e. on July 24, 2026, there will be clouds in many parts of the state, there will be torrential rains accompanied by thunder and lightning and there is a possibility of heavy rains at some selected places. Due to the sudden strengthening of the monsoon system in East Rajasthan, there are full chances of increase in rainfall activities. Many districts of the state may witness heavy rains accompanied by strong gusts of wind and lightning in the sky. Due to continuous raining clouds, there will be a huge drop in temperature, due to which people will get relief from the heat.

Know the condition of your area division wise

• Jaipur Division: The capital Jaipur and the surrounding areas of Dausa, Alwar and Sikar are expected to remain cloudy throughout the day and there may be light to moderate rain.
• Ajmer Division: There are full chances of rain in the areas of Ajmer, Beawar and Nagaur, where sudden heavy showers may occur at some places.
• Kota Division: Monsoon seems to be fully active in Kota, Bundi, Baran and Jhalawar, due to which there will be heavy rains here and it will prove to be very beneficial for the local farmers.
• Udaipur Division: There is a possibility of rain with heavy thunder and lightning along with dark dense clouds in Udaipur, Rajsamand, Dungarpur and Banswara.
• Jodhpur and Western Rajasthan: There will be a big change in the weather of Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Barmer and Bikaner, where light drizzle may occur in some selected areas.

Important advice for farmers

According to the Meteorological Department, this monsoon rain will prove to be very beneficial for Kharif crops like millet, groundnut and cotton. However, farmers are advised to make proper arrangements for proper drainage of water in their fields, because in some areas, due to extremely heavy rains, the problem of waterlogging can also arise.

Special caution regarding weather

During this rainy season, whenever there is lightning or bright flash in the sky, do not go to open places or under trees. Apart from this, people living in low-lying and water-logged areas need to be alert so that any kind of inconvenience can be avoided.
