According to the police, the deceased child has been identified as Sameer, the six-month-old son of Imran, a resident of Saharanpur. Investigation revealed that Shabana had left home with her children and moved to Meerut, where her boyfriend Vishal was already living. The two were planning to live together, but Vishal was unwilling to keep the young children with him.
It is alleged that for this reason, the two conspired to eliminate Sameer. According to the police, Vishal took the child with him under the pretext of dropping him off with an acquaintance. He later murdered the child and threw his body into a drain. On July 12th, locals discovered the child’s body in the drain, but it was not immediately identified.
