Motorola is ready to launch its new smartphone, the Moto G Max, in the Indian market. Several key details of the phone have surfaced ahead of the launch. The Moto G Max, listed on Flipkart, will feature a large 7,000mAh battery, a 50MP Sony camera, and a 120Hz display. The company’s new phone will launch in India on August 14th at 12 noon. Furthermore, its Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor and up to 18GB of RAM boost could make it unique in its segment.

According to the landing page on Flipkart, the Moto G Max will launch in India on August 14th at 12 noon. The smartphone features a 6.72-inch FHD+ display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. The display’s peak HBM brightness is up to 1,050 nits. The phone also features Water Touch 2.0, which allows for better touch performance even when the screen is wet.
Powered by a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor,
the Moto G Max is powered by a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Motorola claims up to 18GB of RAM through its RAM Boost feature, which combines virtual RAM with the phone’s physical RAM to help handle more apps and tasks simultaneously.
50MP Sony Camera and 32MP Selfie Camera
For photography, the Moto G Max features a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 main camera. It’s accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera. For selfies and video calling, the phone has a 32MP front camera. It also features AI-based photo enhancement.
A large 7,000mAh battery
is one of the Moto G Max’s biggest highlights. The smartphone packs a 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery that’s claimed to support up to 1,000 charging cycles. According to Motorola, the phone can deliver up to three days of battery life.
Additionally, the phone features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and a 3.5mm headphone jack. On the software front, the Moto G Max runs Android 16 out of the box. The company is promising two OS upgrades and three years of security updates.

Talking about the design, Moto G Max has a satin finish. The phone will be offered in Pantone-curated colours. It has a flat frame and a prominent camera module on the back. For durability, the phone has been given IP64 rating, Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic and MIL-STD 810H certification. According to the Flipkart listing, Moto G Max will be launched in Blue, Dark Grey and Pink colour options.
