Moto G77 Power set for India launch on 8 July with 7000mAh battery, 120Hz display

Launch timing

Motorola has confirmed that the Moto G77 Power will launch in India on 8 July. The phone is expected to go on sale through Flipkart, Motorola’s website and offline retail channels after the debut.

Price range

Reports suggest the Moto G77 Power will be priced in India in the Rs 30,000 range, putting it in the upper mid-range segment. That positioning makes it a more premium offering in Motorola’s G Power lineup, especially with the larger battery and upgraded camera system.

Specifications

The Moto G77 Power is tipped to feature a 6.72-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, along with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is also expected to run on Android 16 with Hello UI on top, and Motorola is said to promise an Android 17 update as well.

On the camera side, the phone reportedly swaps the G77’s 108MP sensor for a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 main camera, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 32MP selfie camera. The device is also said to support Dolby Atmos audio, Hi-Res Audio, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and stereo speakers.

Battery and build

The biggest highlight is the 7,000mAh battery, which Motorola says can last up to three days under specified usage conditions. The phone is also expected to support fast charging through USB Type-C.

Durability looks like another focus, with reports pointing to MIL-STD-810H build certification. The phone is also said to come in Pantone-selected colour options, which fits Motorola’s recent emphasis on design.

Market position

The Moto G77 Power looks aimed at buyers who want a long-lasting battery, clean software and a large high-refresh display in a polished package. With its mix of endurance and mid-premium hardware, it could appeal strongly to users who prioritise practicality over raw flagship performance.
