Motorola has launched its flagship Signature 27 smartphone, boasting a 200MP camera and a massive battery.
NEW DELHI, Nov 7: Motorola has introduced its new flagship smartphone, the Motorola Signature 27, featuring a 200-megapixel camera and a 7,000mAh battery.
Announced on November 5, the Signature 27 is the brand’s most advanced smartphone to date. It has a quad-camera setup with a 50MP main camera, a 200MP periscope telephoto camera with 100x Super Zoom, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP front camera. Motorola states this camera system received a DXOMARK Gold Label for its imaging quality.
One standout feature is the Extreme AMOLED Duo display, which offers peak brightness of 12,000 nits and includes Dolby Vision support. This technology combines two emissive layers for improved energy efficiency and longevity.
Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor, designed to facilitate advanced AI experiences. Motorola has integrated features such as Rambler, which refines speech, and Sign-to-Text, translating American Sign Language into written English. The smartphone also utilizes Google’s Gemini Intelligence for various tasks, including video editing.
The Signature 27 supports both wired and wireless charging, with a rapid 90W TurboPower option that can reportedly provide a full day’s use after just 12 minutes of charging. It is made with military-grade materials, reinforced with Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3, and has IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
Motorola has priced the Signature 27 at $1,599 and plans to make it available globally in the coming months. The phone is expected to compete directly with other flagship models, particularly Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra, which, although priced similarly, offers different features.
