Mozambique delegation stunned to see the technical splendor of Delhi Metro

New Delhi: The glory of the technical capability and training system of Delhi Metro, which is called the lifeline of the capital, is now reaching abroad. João Jorge Matlombe, Minister of Transport and Logistics of the Government of Mozambique, visited Delhi Metro on Thursday and saw closely the state-of-the-art technology, training system and intricacies of metro operation.

Welcome to DMRC Academy

The Mozambican Minister and his delegation, who reached the Academy of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, were welcomed by DMRC Managing Director Dr. Vikas Kumar and DMIL Chief Executive Officer Sanjay Jamuar. The officials briefed the delegation about the training and capacity building programs being run by Delhi Metro.

Inspection of modern training facilities

During the visit the delegation also watched documentaries related to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation and DMIL. After this the delegation inspected the state-of-the-art training facilities of the academy. Prominent among these were Extended Reality Laboratory, Metro Signaling Model Room, Bogie Brake pneumatic simulator and RS-2 driving simulator.

Metro Museum Visit

After this the Mozambican delegation reached the Delhi Metro Museum located at the Supreme Court Metro Station. Here the delegation obtained information about the development, technical achievements and journey of Delhi Metro so far. This visit is being considered as a step to further strengthen the international recognition of India's modern metro technology and training capacity.
