Karimganj MP Kripanath Mallah inspected the progress of the construction work of the proposed women's college in Vidyanagar of Ramakrishnanagar assembly constituency of Shribhoomi district by reaching the spot on September 7. He took stock of the current status of the construction work of the college building and discussed with the concerned officials and people associated with the construction.
The MP said that with the opening of the college, opportunities for higher education will become more accessible to the girl students of Vidyanagar and surrounding areas. He expressed hope that this project will play an important role in spreading women's education and developing educational infrastructure.
Emphasis is being laid on early completion of this project in line with the priority given to education and infrastructure development by the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Vishwa Sharma.
