‘Mukhyamantri Maawan Dhiyaan Satkar Yojana’ became a support for women in the era of economic responsibilities.
Chandigarh: Bhagwant Mann government’s ‘Mukhyamantri Maawan Dhiyaan Satkar Yojana’ is providing financial assistance to eligible women of the state at a time when rising household expenses, cost of college admissions and inflation are continuously putting pressure on family budgets. The assistance amount has been sent directly to the bank accounts of about 33 lakh women beneficiaries who completed registration by June 25, 2026, while the remaining eligible women will receive this amount on August 1. So far, about 70 lakh women have registered under this scheme.
Age structure of beneficiaries

Of the total beneficiaries, the share of women in the age group of 36–45 years is 25.2 percent and the share of women in the age group of 46–59 years is 25.4 percent. Thus, more than 50 percent of the beneficiaries are in the age group of 36 to 59 years.
