Puneet Krishna said that for him ‘Mirzapur’ was always a story for the big screen. The audience saw it as a web series but actually it was conceived like a film, which is now going to be released on September 4. The special thing is that this time the shooting of the film has been done in Mirzapur only. In the first series, shooting was done in different districts of Uttar Pradesh.

There will be tremendous action and songs in the film

He told that when Gangs of Wasseypur was released, he felt that he had missed the opportunity to show such a story on the big screen. After this, when he got a chance to make a streaming show, he immediately accepted it. Puneet Krishna said that the entire team is trying to understand how to present a show as a film. The film is being made in such a way that even those who have not seen the series can easily understand the characters and their story. There will also be high level action and songs in the film, so that the audience can get a complete cinematic experience.

Puneet Krishna told that almost all the important characters including Munna, Guddu, Bablu, Kaleen Bhaiya, Rati Shankar, Golu, Dimpy and Sweety will be seen in this film. However, Vikrant Massey will not return in this film. Jitendra Kumar can be seen in his place.
