Ravi Bishnoi had bowled 3 no-balls in the second T20I against England, now Murali Karthik told the solution.
IND vs ENG: In the second T20 match against England, Team India had to face defeat even after scoring 190 runs. England had achieved the target easily. One reason for Team India’s defeat was spinner Ravi Bishnoi, who gave away 29 runs in just one over. Ravi Bishnoi’s repeated back-foot no-balls caused huge losses to Team India. He bowled a total of 3 no-balls in this match. Now the statement of former Indian spinner Murali Karthik has come on this problem of Bishnoi. Karthik has analyzed Bishnoi’s bowling technique.
Murali Karthik gave a big statement on Ravi Bishnoi’s bowling technique
Murali Karthik believes that Ravi Bishnoi’s bowling action is not the problem, but the problem lies in his changed run-up. Karthik told PTI, “Bishnoi’s excessively curved run-up to reach the crease is spoiling his alignment, due to which he has to cut the return crease.” He suggested that if he returned to his earlier shorter “C-shaped” run-up, the problem could be solved without completely changing his bowling action.”
Karthik told that the reason for Bishnoi’s ‘back-foot no-ball’ lies in the way he reaches the crease and handles the ball before leaving it. Karthik said, “I think back-foot no-balls happen because of the way you run-up and load. Ravi Bishnoi’s run-up has been different over the years. Even during the IPL, his run-up was kind of semi-circle or ‘C’ shaped – you can call it whatever you want. That’s the way he runs to get into position to bowl.”

T20 game affected by change in Ravi Bishvoi’s run-up
Murali Karthik believes that while playing red-ball cricket, Bishnoi tried to change his run-up and technique, which has affected his T20 game. He said that when he was playing for Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL last year, his run-up was quite straightforward. He himself had to work on his bowling technique, because during that time he played some matches in Ranji Trophy, which affected his T20 game.

Ravi Bishwoi gave away 60 runs against England
Ravi Bishnoi was included in the playing 11 of the second T20 match against England. Team India had a lot of expectations from this spinner, but Bishnoi could not do wonders. Bishnoi had given away 60 runs in his 4 over spell. Not only this, he could not succeed in taking even a single wicket. This was the reason why the England team easily achieved the target by losing 6 wickets in the 19th over itself. Now it remains to be seen whether Bishnoi gets a place in the playing 11 in the third T20 match or the team management and captain Shreyas Iyer will look at some other option.
