To prepare a great Manchurian, you will need fresh button mushrooms (250 grams), flour (half cup), cornflour (one-fourth cup), ginger-garlic paste, finely chopped green chillies, soya sauce, red chilli sauce, tomato ketchup and black pepper powder. You must keep finely chopped spring onion for decoration, because this gives the real Chinese look.
Make mushrooms crispy and delicious like this
First of all, wash the mushrooms and dry them thoroughly. Now prepare a thick batter by adding flour, cornflour, ginger-garlic paste, salt and black pepper in a bowl. Dip the mushrooms in this solution and deep fry them in hot oil until they become golden brown and crunchy. Keep in mind that the solution should not be too thin, otherwise the water from the mushrooms will come out and they will become soft.
Prepare restaurant special sauce
The real magic lies in the gravy or sauce of Manchurian. Heat some oil in a pan, add finely chopped garlic, ginger and green chillies.
