'Narendra Modi has no status…', Abhijeet Deepke's sharp attack in Kochi; Comparison with Gandhi, Ambedkar and Nehru

Kochi. Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Deepke made sharp remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the 'Jantar-Mantar at Kochi' event organized in protest against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list in Kochi, Kerala. He said that even if the Prime Minister remains in power for 120 years, he cannot reach the stature of Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. In his speech, he also raised questions about the foreign policy of the central government, trade relations with America and Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

Targeted by mentioning Gandhi, Ambedkar and Nehru

During the demonstration, Deepke described Mahatma Gandhi as the soul of India, Dr. Ambedkar as the backbone of the country and Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru as the brain of India. In this context, he said, 'Narendra Modi does not have the capacity to become bigger than him.' He alleged that the history of the organization to which the Prime Minister belongs during the freedom movement has been different from the contributions of these leaders.

Deepke also targeted Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and raised questions about its contribution in the freedom movement. These comments were part of his political speech.

Questions raised on trade agreement with Trump and America

Deepke accused the Prime Minister of compromising Indian interests in front of US President Donald Trump. Referring to the issue of buying oil from Russia and India-US trade relations, he claimed that 18 percent tariff was imposed on India, while India was said to have zero percent duty on American products.

He questioned that when the CJP is being accused of working at the behest of foreign powers, the government should also answer to its decisions with the US. Deepke alleged that the Prime Minister has compromised the interests of the country. These are political allegations made in his speech.

There is also a siege regarding SIR and Gyanesh Kumar.

The CJP founder raised questions over the special intensive revision of voter lists and claimed that names of more than 13 crore voters across the country have been removed. He said that the youth and those opposing SIR are being targeted by accusing them of being linked to Pakistan, America and George Soros.

Deepke reiterated his demand for the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and questioned why he is so important to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that change in power is possible only through the electoral process and for this it is necessary for the voter list to be fair.

Many people including Prakash Raj participated

Actor and social activist Prakash Raj also attended the event organized in Kochi. A march was taken out from Marine Drive to Rajendra Maidan, after which a meeting was held. Apart from CJP workers, people associated with various social and student organizations participated in it.

The main demands of the protesters were withdrawal of the SIR process and resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Deepke announced that he will continue the movement in different parts of the country carrying the tricolor.
