As per the orders of Uttar Pradesh State Legal Services Authority and as per the instructions of District Judge Ramsulin Singh, President District Legal Services Authority, Sonbhadra, National Lok Adalat was organized by the District Legal Services Authority, Sonbhadra on 12.09.2026. Which was inaugurated by the District Judge/Chairman District Legal Services Authority, Sonbhadra in the premises of District Court, Sonbhadra.
On this occasion, Rachana Arora Principal Judge Family Court Sonbhadra, Sandeep Gupta-II First Additional District Judge Sonbhadra, Govind Mohan Special Judge SCST Act Sonbhadra, Omkar Shukla Special Judge (POCSO) Sonbhadra, Vipin Kumar-III Additional District Judge/FTC/CAW Sonbhadra, Harikesh Kumar Additional District Judge/FTCC/14th Finance Commission Sonbhadra, Justice Pankaj, Chief Judicial Magistrate Sonbhadra, Dr. Rameshwar Dayal District Judge
CD, Rahul Civil Judge CD/Secretary District Legal Services Authority Sonbhadra, Ajay Singh-II District Judge CD/ACJM and all other judicial officers, Salan Bage, leading bank manager Indian Bank, Sonbhadra and Arun Kumar Singh, President District Bar Association and other advocates were present. The District Judge inspected the stalls set up by the banks and encouraged the bank representatives present there and called upon the bank representatives to resolve the cases by providing benefits to as many common people as possible.
The specific subjects in the said National Lok Adalat are criminal compoundable suits, suits under Section 138 NI Act, bank recovery suits, motor accident compensation petitions, family suits, labor suits, land acquisition suits, electricity and water bills (excluding non-compoundable), disputes related to pay and allowances in service and retirement benefits, revenue suits (only suits pending in the Hon'ble High Court and District Courts), other civil suits. Along with the cases related to rent, easement, injunction, specific relief suit, the amicable pre-litigation cases were also settled on the basis of settlement agreement.

288 cases were disposed of by Muralidhar Singh, Special Judicial Magistrate I, Sonbhadra, 12 cases were disposed of, amounting to 4600, thus a total of 3429 cases were disposed of by the above courts, whose fine and settlement amount was Rs. 104723500.
Apart from this, a total of 85884 cases of pending litigation and pre-litigation cases were settled in all the revenue courts, other courts and other departments of the district, whose fine and settlement amount was Rs 190957207 and a total of 492 cases of private and public banks were settled, whose settlement amount was Rs 25678827. Thus, a total of 89805 cases were finally resolved in the National Lok Adalat held on 12.09.2026, the total settlement amount of which was Rs 321359534.
A total of 51 cases of petty offenses were disposed of in the special Lok Adalat held on 09.09.2026, 10.09.2026 and 11.09.2026 in continuation of the National Lok Adalat. The above information has been given by Rahul Civil Judge CD/Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Sonbhadra.
