History of National Parents Day
Celebrating National Parents Day started in South Korea on May 8, 1973, although May 8 was chosen to celebrate this day in South Korea. The official start of Parents’ Day started in America in 1994. The then US President Bill Clinton signed a law on the fourth Sunday of July to establish National Parents’ Day was declared. The purpose of celebrating this day is to honor the parents who make continuous efforts for the upbringing of their children and their better future.
