Nayyi Navelli Trailer Release: The trailer of Bollywood actress Yami Gautam’s upcoming film Nai Naveli has been released on Wednesday, 30 September 2026. On one hand, the trailer shows the story of the daughter-in-law who joined the new family after marriage, while on the other hand, such a cocktail of mystery, fantasy and action is seen, which the audience would hardly have expected. Entry of new daughter-in-law and mystery begins
The story revolves around the Awasthi family. New daughter-in-law Mohini enters the family and initially everything seems like a typical Indian family. Wedding rituals, squabbles among relatives and the opinions of different members of the family take the story forward in a light-hearted manner. But as soon as Mohini arrives, such questions start arising in front of the family, which are not easily answered. Meanwhile, the mystery of ‘Bhabhi Daayan Hai’ takes the story to a completely different world.
Fantasy and action with comedy
The specialty of the trailer is that the film is not limited to any one genre. Along with family comedy, mystery, magical world and tremendous action are also seen in it. The story is based in the backdrop of Meerut and is presented as India’s own fantasy family entertainer. The film is directed by Balaji Mohan, while the story is written by Himanshu Sharma and Divya Nidhi Sharma. Anand L. Rai and Himanshu Sharma are its producers.
Yami told why the character of Mohini is special?
Yami Gautam, playing the character of Mohini, said that this film gave her an opportunity to play a character who easily changes her complexion between family, comedy, emotions, magical world and action, but remains connected to her roots. According to director Balaji Mohan, the story starts with a family which will seem familiar to the audience, but later it takes an unexpected turn.
