NEET 2026 Re-Examination Railways to Run Special Trains Between Indore Bhopal and Ratlam

Indian Railways has announced the operation of special trains between Indore, Bhopal and Ratlam to facilitate thousands of candidates appearing for the NEET 2026 re-examination. The special train services, scheduled for June 20, are aimed at helping candidates reach their examination centers on time and reducing travel-related difficulties.

The NEET 2026 re-examination is scheduled to be held on June 21. In view of the expected participation of a large number of candidates, the Railways has decided to operate additional train services. According to West Central Railway officials, the special trains will benefit not only examination candidates but also regular passengers.

Railway authorities stated that operating special trains is necessary to manage the sudden increase in passenger traffic during the examination period and to help candidates reach their centers on time.

According to the schedule released by the Railways, Train No. 09354 will operate as a special train from Indore on June 20. The train will depart Indore at 11:25 am and arrive in Bhopal at 7:00 pm. It will halt at Fatehabad Chandrawatiganj Junction, Badnagar, Ratlam, Nagda, Ujjain, Maksi, Shujalpur, Sehore and Sant Hirdaram Nagar stations en route.

Railway officials said the service will be particularly useful for candidates traveling from various cities across Madhya Pradesh to examination centres.

In addition, Train No. 09353 will operate as a special service between Bhopal and Ratlam. The train will depart Bhopal at 7:40 pm on June 20 and reach Ratlam at 12:55 am the following day. During its journey, it will halt at Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Sehore, Shujalpur, Maksi, Ujjain and Nagda stations.

The Railways said the arrangement will facilitate travel for candidates before and after the examination while also reducing additional pressure on regular train services.

The Bhopal Division of West Central Railway has also initiated special security and crowd management preparations for the examination. According to officials, examination centers have been established in Bhopal, Ashoknagar, Guna, Narmadapuram and Vidisha, where a large number of candidates are expected to arrive.

Bhopal will host the highest number of candidates, with 13,774 scheduled to appear for the examination. Guna is expected to have 1,839 candidates, Vidisha 1,709, Narmadapuram 1,283 and Ashoknagar 865 candidates. In view of these numbers, the Railways has decided to deploy additional staff.

The railway administration has directed the deployment of additional commercial staff, operational personnel and Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel at all major stations. Special arrangements will be made to manage passenger movement at station premises, entry and exit gates, and platforms.

Officials said special monitoring will also be undertaken to ensure the punctual operation of trains on the examination day. The initiative is expected to assist thousands of candidates in reaching their examination centers without inconvenience.
