He further questioned the credibility of the examination process, stating that repeated leaks have eroded public trust in competitive exams.
Sharp Attack on BJP Government
In his post, Akhilesh Yadav alleged that as long as the BJP remains in power, the examination system will continue to suffer from paper leak issues.
He claimed that the system would only be corrected once there is a change in government, and described the current administration as a “failed government.”
His remarks come at a time when lakhs of students across the country are facing uncertainty after the NEET UG 2026 examination was canceled and a re-exam was announced.
NEET Cancellation Triggers Political Storm
The controversy erupted after the National Testing Agency (NTA) canceled the NEET UG 2026 exam conducted on May 3 amid allegations of paper leaks and irregularities. The Center has also ordered a CBI investigation into the matter.
