NEET EXAM: Rahul asked PM why he is not dismissing the Education Minister, raised questions on PM’s “silence”
Said- NEET 2026 paper leaked, exam cancelled, minister still not resigned
New Delhi. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi why he is not sacking Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan despite repeated paper leaks during his tenure. Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Gandhi, in a post on ‘X’, also questioned the Prime Minister’s “silence” on the issue. Gandhi said, “NEET 2024: Paper leaked. The exam was not cancelled. The minister did not resign. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) started investigation. A committee was formed.
He said, NEET 2026: Paper leaked. The exam was cancelled. The minister still did not resign. CBI is investigating again. Another committee will be formed. The National Testing Agency (NTA) canceled the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Undergraduate) (NEET-UG) held on May 3 amid allegations of irregularities. The re-examination will be conducted on June 21.
Using the hashtag ‘Sack the Prime Minister’, Gandhi said, “Prime Minister Modi, the country is asking you some questions – answer them.” Why are papers getting leaked again and again? Why are you silent again and again on this ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’? Why are you not dismissing the education minister who is continuously failing?
‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ is a program in which the Prime Minister interacts with students, parents and teachers. The initiative aims to revamp the examination experience of students by promoting confidence, positivity and overall well-being.
