New Delhi:A big update has come out for the students associated with NEET UG 2026 examination. National Testing Agency has extended the last date for submitting bank details for NEET UG fee refund. Now candidates can update their banking information by visiting the official website neet.nta.nic.in till June 22.
In the notification issued by NTA, it has been said that till now about 13 lakh candidates have submitted their bank account information. This deadline has been extended to facilitate those candidates who have not yet updated their bank details.
How to apply for NEET UG fee refund
Candidates can complete the fee refund process by following the simple steps given below:
Visit the official website neet.nta.nic.in
Login to NEET portal with the help of your login credentials
Click on the refund link
Fill in your bank account details
After completion of the process, keep its printout safely.
What information is necessary in bank details?
For fee refund, candidates will have to provide the following information:
Account holder name
IFSC code
bank account number
bank name
Cancel Check (Option)
Exam was canceled after paper leak
NEET UG 2026 exam held on May 3 was canceled after the alleged paper leak case. Now re-NEET exam will be conducted on 21 June 2026. NTA has clarified that candidates will not need to re-register for re-NEET. Only the registration data, candidate information and chosen examination center submitted in the May 2026 examination cycle will be valid in the re-examination.

No additional fees will be charged for re-examination
According to NTA, no additional examination fee will be charged from any candidate for Re-NEET 2026. The fees already deposited will be refunded to the students and the examination will be re-conducted through the internal resources of the agency.
Re-NEET admit cards will be issued again
Admit cards for re-NEET exam will be issued afresh. The exam date and admit card release schedule will be shared through the official website.

Enter application number and date of birth
Hall Ticket PDF will appear on the screen
Download the admit card and take a print out of it
