Neetu Kapoor broke silence on trolling
Recently, Neetu Kapoor, who appeared on Soha Ali Khan’s YouTube show with daughter Riddhima, made many emotional revelations while remembering the most difficult time of her life. He said-
“I started working (after Rishi Kapoor’s demise). After his demise, I worked in Jug Jug Jeeyo. I started working just to get my confidence back. My condition was very bad, and when people would say ‘Oh after his demise, she immediately returned to work’, I felt very sad. It felt very bad. But they didn’t know why I did that.

‘I started drinking…’
I have to tell you what happened to me. After he passed away, I couldn’t sleep for a month or two, and I started drinking. I used to drink alcohol, and then I couldn’t sleep without drinking alcohol. I had to numb my brain and sleep. I was very upset with myself.

‘The doctor used to put us to sleep by giving injections…
“I called my doctor and asked for help… so he introduced me to a gynecologist who would come to my house around 11 pm and put me to sleep with injections. She would sit there until I fell asleep. She used to ask my staff to keep an eye on me. This sequence continued for 10 days. And on the 11th or 12th day, I called them and said ‘I am fine and can proceed.

Karan Johar advised to return to work
Neetu Kapoor said that to come out of that difficult phase, it was necessary for her to keep herself busy in something. He spoke to filmmaker Karan Johar, who advised him to start working again.

However, the actress admitted that she was very nervous during the shooting of Jug Jug Jio, but this experience also made her mentally strong.

Rishi Kapoor died in 2020
Actor Rishi Kapoor was diagnosed with leukemia in 2018, after which he went to New York for treatment. After undergoing treatment for about a year, he returned to India and also worked on some projects. But in 2020, his health deteriorated again and he died on 30 April 2020 in Mumbai.

The pair of Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor has been counted among the most popular couples of Bollywood. Both of them had worked together in many films like ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and ‘Kabhi Kabhie’.
