Hisar: Superintendent of Police, Hisar Shri Siddhant Jain, IPS today took a review meeting related to traffic with the aim of making the traffic system better and smoother. Assistant Superintendent of Police Mr. Mayank Mugdil, traffic in-charge and NHAI officials were present in the meeting. During the meeting, the Superintendent of Police took information from the officials regarding traffic arrangements, road safety and adherence to traffic rules in Hisar city and major roads. He instructed the traffic employees to work with full caution and responsibility while on duty.
SP Hisar said that action should be taken as per rules against those who affect the traffic system in the city like illegal parking, driving in wrong direction, encroachment, driving without helmet, ignoring seat belt, speeding and violating other traffic rules. Negligence will not be tolerated at any level in the traffic system.
Necessary instructions also given to NHAI officials
In the meeting, various points related to road condition, necessary arrangements to maintain smooth traffic and road safety were discussed with NHAI officials. SP Hisar directed that where there is a need for improvement related to roads, cuts, signals, lights, dividers or other traffic facilities, necessary action should be taken by the concerned department in a time bound manner. He said that road safety is not only the responsibility of the police, but better traffic system can be ensured only through mutual coordination of the concerned departments and awareness of the general public.
Strict action will be taken against those who break the rules
The Superintendent of Police instructed the traffic staff to take action against those violating traffic rules as per rules without any discrimination. Besides, special emphasis should also be given on making the general public aware of traffic rules. He said that safe, smooth and organized traffic system in Hisar city is one of the priorities of the police. Drivers should follow traffic rules, park their vehicles at designated places only and take special care of their own and others' safety on the road.
