Delhi Police has not given permission for the tricolor march. Police has also given notice to Abhijeet Dipke not to protest. Earlier, the police had asked 11 people of CJP to take out the tricolor march but CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke rejected the police proposal, after which NDMC has closed the Central Park for 2 days. Traffic on all routes coming to CP has been diverted. The police have made strong fortification of Connaught Place.
People raised slogans of Modi-Modi near Gate No. 6 of Rajiv Chowk.
There is a lot of crowd right in front of Gate No. 6 of Rajiv Chowk at this time. People are protesting. On one side, slogans of Modi-Modi are being raised, while on the other side, protesters holding tricolor in their hands are seen protesting against SIR and CEC. CAPFs have cordoned off all sides and there is no restriction on anyone being allowed to go out at this time. But as a precaution people are being appealed to remain calm. We have deployed our personnel in these areas to control the traffic. If there is any disruption, we will divert the traffic to other routes in time, so that there is minimal hassle to the people and the traffic flows smoothly. We are also keeping an eye on social media. If we get any information at the ground level, As soon as we get information about any disruption, we will divert the traffic to other routes. Our main objective is to ensure that the passengers do not face any problem. If any disruption occurs, we will divert the traffic to other routes.
