‘Cameras were installed in the toilet, video leaked while bathing’, this actress opened up about reality show Polpatti

Nehal Vadoliya on House Arrest Show: Actress Nehal Vadoliya, who has made her mark in the world of TV and OTT, is once again in the headlines. Nehal, who has been seen in popular shows like ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ and ‘Gandii Baat’, recently shared her experiences related to the reality show ‘House Arrest’ in a podcast interview. During the conversation, he made many shocking claims regarding the show’s format, tasks, production arrangements and behavior of the makers, which have sparked a new debate on social media. Nehal says that many such things were seen during the show due to which she started feeling uncomfortable. He alleged that some of the tasks in the show were very strange and controversial, while he also had serious reservations about the arrangement of the cameras.

‘Stayed in the show only for five days’

While talking to Suno India podcast, Nehal told that she had gone to be a part of ‘House Arrest’, but within just five days she decided to leave the show. According to the actress, after coming to the show, she realized that many of the tasks happening there were completely different from her thoughts and expectations. She said that such tasks were given to the participants in the program which she herself was surprised to see.

‘Participants were given the task of kissing’

Nehal claimed that there was a task in the show in which a male contestant was blindfolded and handcuffed. Many female participants were seated in front of him. According to him, as part of the task, the girls had to kiss that contestant one by one and later he had to identify which girl kissed him at which time. Nehal says that she felt very strange after seeing such tasks and she felt that the focus of the show was more on creating sensation than entertainment.

‘There were cameras installed even near the toilet seat’

Nehal made another big claim during the interview. He said that cameras were also installed around the toilet area on the set of the show, about which he raised questions. According to Nehal, the participants were constantly keeping an eye on where the cameras were installed. She said that she could not understand what the makers wanted to show to the audience and why the need for such a system was felt. He also alleged that some objectionable scenes were recorded on camera while a male contestant was taking a bath, after which the production team had to make changes in the related footage and arrangements.

‘I was declared the loser’

Nehal gave another reason for leaving the show and said that she felt that the competition was not being run in a fair manner. The actress alleges that despite performing better in a task, she was not made the winner and the makers put forward another contestant. He said that when he questioned this decision and tried to present his point of view, his views were not taken seriously.

‘When I raised my voice, the director started scolding me’

According to Nehal, when she lodged a protest against the alleged injustice done to her, a director present on the set got angry with her. He claimed that during the debate the director spoke loudly at him and tried to ignore his questions. The actress says that she was deeply hurt by this behavior and she also openly expressed her protest.

Heated argument with the director

Nehal told that after the controversy escalated, she had a heated argument with the director. The actress said that she had made it clear that if she was not treated fairly then she would not be a part of the show. The situation became so bad that he decided to leave the show midway. According to the actress, she had warned the makers that if the matter was not resolved, she would also consider taking legal and administrative steps.

‘The makers contacted after hearing about the police complaint’

Nehal claimed that when she talked about filing a police complaint, the producers of the show contacted her again. Later he was called back during the finale and an attempt was made to calm the matter through talks. Although he did not clarify what kind of agreement was reached between the two parties, he said that that experience taught him a lot about the working of reality shows.
