While addressing an important national press conference, Laxman fiercely targeted Congress and opposition parties. He said that on the completion of 12 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi serving the country by being elected as the country’s top public representative (Chief Minister and Prime Minister), BJP is organizing special programs across the country. Dr. Laxman said that Narendra Modi, as the elected Prime Minister from a poor family, has continuously taken the country forward. He clarified that PM Modi has achieved this position through the unwavering trust and democracy of 140 crore people, whereas Congress has no issue left today.

During the press conference, Dr. K. on the allegations of ‘seat stealing’ being leveled against BJP by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and the opposition. Laxman retaliated strongly. Citing historical facts, he said that after independence, the first ‘seat theft’ of the country was done by Congress and Jawaharlal Nehru ji. He claimed that at the time of independence, all the people of the country and the Congress committees wanted to make the iron man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel the first Prime Minister of the country, but despite this, Nehru ji occupied the chair of the Prime Minister. Dr. Laxman raised the question that when the public and majority were with Patel ji, then how did Nehru ji become the Prime Minister, this was the real seat theft.

Praising the impeccable and dedicated tenure of PM Modi, the President of BJP Backward Class Morcha said that there has not been a single allegation of corruption against the government during his rule. PM Modi did not take a single day’s leave during his entire tenure and even after the death of his revered mother, he returned to handle the work of serving the country. While presenting the development figures, Dr. Laxman said that due to the welfare policies of PM Modi, 25 crore people of the country have risen above the poverty line. Corruption has been curbed through digital revolution and Rs 4.29 lakh crore has been saved from falling into wrong hands through DBT. Today the country is in completely safe hands and is free from Naxalism.

Dr. K. Giving details of the government’s public welfare schemes, Laxman said that more than 50 crore new bank accounts have been opened in the country, out of which 32 crore accounts belong to women alone. The main focus of the government is to make the youth employment providers instead of employment seekers. He said that more than 60 crore people of the country are getting direct benefits from the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Along with this, pucca houses have been provided to the poor, Ujjwala gas connections to 11 crore families, clean tap water to every house and toilet facilities to 12 crore women. Mudra Yojana has provided self-employment opportunities to 57 crore people, while under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, Rs 4.20 lakh crore has been sent directly to the accounts of farmers. More than 4.5 crore accounts have been opened in Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana and the biggest benefit of all these schemes has been given to half of the country’s population i.e. women.

Talking about the development of the country’s infrastructure, Dr. Laxman said that this is not just a game of numbers, but a ‘self-reliant India’ is changing on the ground. In the last years, 90 thousand kilometers of National Highways have been constructed within the country. The mainstream of development is reaching even the remote and border areas of the country, the biggest proof of which is that for the first time after independence, a railway tunnel has been constructed in Sikkim. Apart from this, the number of airports has been increased from 74 to 164, strengthening the air connectivity in the country. Expressing anger, he said that despite this historic development, Congress leaders are repeatedly raising trivial questions on PM Modi’s caste and his food habits.

Making special mention of the development of Uttar Pradesh, Dr. K. Laxman praised the good governance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He said that Uttar Pradesh has now completely come out of the category of ‘sick state’ and CM Yogi has worked to create ‘New Uttar Pradesh of New India’. This is why today ‘Yogi Model’ is talked about for development and law and order in the entire country. He clarified that there is no discrimination against anyone in the implementation of poor welfare schemes in UP and BJP does not just give the slogan of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ but works on it. In the end, targeting the Samajwadi Party chief, he asked a direct question, “Akhilesh Yadav, tell me what did he do for the rights of the backward and the deprived during his tenure?”
