The Asian Games is to begin from September 19 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. Athletes have started reaching Aichi-Nagoya for the Asiad but they are facing severe mismanagement. According to media reports, Indian athletes had to wait for 14 hours to reach their rooms after reaching Nagoya. Meanwhile, Indian players kept wandering here and there hungry and thirsty.
Local officials are not helping
Despite having valid accreditation, many Indian players could not get rooms on time. He passed his time with very few facilities. The local authorities also helped him very little. Even those Indian athletes who got rooms had to share them with others.
The organizing committee had given the rooms allotted for Indian players to athletes from other countries, which led to chaos. These rooms have been built on cruise ships stopped in the city. There is a huge lack of arrangements for the large number of athletes arriving. It is believed that Japan had no idea of so many athletes coming together.

Rover narrated his story
The Indian rowing team left for Japan in two batches from Delhi Airport on Tuesday (September 15). A few hours after the first batch left, the second group left. Had a brief stopover in Bangkok. The first batch reached Nagoya around 8 am (Japanese time) on Wednesday morning. According to reports, this batch reached the cruise ship after an hour, but they had to wait there for a long time.
Speaking to The New Indian Express, a rover said, 'We reached there around 9 am (Japanese time) and it is now 8:30 pm, but only a few of us have got rooms. Those who got rooms were asked to accommodate other athletes as well.

Not only Rovers but Shooters and two other teams also faced problems. The shooters' rooms were allotted to others. He was accommodated in a different hotel. Some members of the Indian Olympic Association were also sent to a nearby hotel and the medical team also had to adjust with them for some time.
