Disha Salian murder case: Actor Sooraj Pancholi’s name has once again come into discussion in the case related to the death of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s former manager Disha Salian. Sooraj Pancholi has finally broken his silence after his name appeared in the FIR registered by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in this entire episode. Sharing a long and emotional post on social media, he clearly said that he has nothing to do with this case. The actor claimed that he neither met Disha Salian nor has any evidence against him that links him to the case.

Sooraj Pancholi wrote in his Instagram post that he was silent on the false news and speculations coming about him for the last several years, because he did not want to escalate the matter by responding to every report. But when the same baseless thing is repeated again and again, a person is forced to present his side.
Expressing his strong displeasure over his name being dragged into the case, he wrote, “I have never met Late Disha Salian either directly or indirectly. Even I have never met Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aditya Thackeray. It is extremely sad and sheer injustice that my name is being continuously dragged into this sensitive matter without any evidence or proof.”
‘Ready to cooperate in investigation, I have nothing to hide’
Sooraj also revealed that the investigating agencies had questioned him in this matter years ago and he had always been transparent. He said that if any agency has to inquire or need any information in future, then they are ready to cooperate fully. He openly supported an impartial and thorough CBI investigation into the death of Disha Salian. Along with this, he also appealed to the people who form opinions on media and social media. He wrote, “A debate on TV or a sensational headline is no proof. Don’t blindly trust any news. Behind every name is a person, his family and his life. Throwing mud on someone’s character without verifying the facts should stop.” Sooraj said that he has full faith in the judiciary and the investigating agencies and in the end the truth will prevail.
Why did this matter come into discussion again??
Let us tell you, Disha Salian died on 8 June 2020 due to falling from a multi-storey building. A few days later, Sushant Singh Rajput also passed away, due to which various theories started emerging regarding this matter.
Recently, Disha’s father Satish Salian had filed a petition in the Bombay High Court. Hearing this petition, the court on September 2 directed the CBI to conduct a detailed investigation into the circumstances surrounding Disha’s death. After this, CBI registered a formal FIR, in which the names of many people including Sooraj Pancholi, Aditya Thackeray, Rhea Chakraborty, Dino Morea and Disha’s fiance Rohan Roy have been included in the scope of investigation for their alleged roles.
