New Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z launched, now you will get a new 5-inch TFT display

Desk: Bajaj has officially launched the updated Pulsar NS400Z at Rs 1,90,015 (ex-showroom Delhi). This launch comes just a week after the new TFT console appeared at dealerships. The update has given special attention to the instrument cluster and connected features, bringing the flagship Pulsar at par with the rest of the refreshed line-up.

The NS400Z has a 5-inch TFT display instead of the bonded-glass color LCD used till now. It has features like Google Maps mirroring for turn-by-turn navigation, music control, document storage and lap timer. Riders can access four riding modes and directly manage traction control through the new interface.




  • Connectivity is via Bluetooth, and a USB Type-C charging port has also been added. Bajaj has also introduced a Panic Brake Alert system, which activates hazard lights to warn vehicles behind when sudden braking is applied.

    This year, the 5-inch TFT display has gradually been added to all models in the Pulsar family: first in the N160 SS, then in the Pulsar 125 and 150, and now in the NS400Z.

    Everything else was changed in the NS400Z. Is. The 349 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine generates 40 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and 33 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm, which comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Existing features like electronic throttle body, four ride modes, traction control, 43 mm USD front fork, dual-channel ABS and radial tires have been retained.

    The updated NS400Z is priced at Rs 1.90 lakh, which is slightly more than its previous model. This price reflects the TFT display and connected features added to it. It will continue to compete with rival bikes like the KTM 390 Duke in the 300-400cc naked bike segment.
