New Car: Audi introduces Q4 e-tron facelift with high-tech features, know design and price
New Car: Audi has introduced the Q4 e-tron facelift globally, in which many important updates have been made at the level of design, cabin and performance. The model is available in both SUV and Sportback body styles, making it a strong presence in the premium electric segment.
What’s new in design?
The overall design of the new Q4 e-tron has remained the same, but some attractive changes have been made in it. The front gets new customizable LED daytime running lights, as well as matrix LED headlamps. The grille is finished in body colour, which is made more stylish with glossy black and silver elements.
Aerodynamics and exterior
New air intakes have been provided in the bumper to improve the aerodynamics of the car. Sharp lines, silver beltline and chrome finish are seen in the side profile. Buyers can choose from five new alloy wheel designs ranging between 19 and 21 inches. There is a lot of similarity in the rear design of both SUV and Sportback.
Premium cabin and features
The biggest change in the interior is the triple-screen setup. It has an 11.9-inch digital driver display, 12.8-inch touchscreen and optional 12-inch passenger display. Apart from this, the option of augmented reality head-up display is also given. AC controls are now completely touchscreen operated.
Space and comfort
The new layout comes with a larger center console and touch-sensitive steering controls. It has a boot space of 515 litres, which can be increased to 1,487 liters by folding the rear seat.
Range and performance
It has 59kWh and 77kWh battery packs, whose efficiency has been improved. With the rear motor, it produces 286hp and 545Nm torque and offers a range of up to 592 km. The AWD variant offers 340hp power and a range of 554 km. With 185kW DC fast charging, it can charge 10-80% in 27 minutes.
Price and launch
Its starting price in Germany is €47,500 (approximately ₹52.55 lakh), while the Sportback version starts at €49,450 (approximately ₹54.70 lakh). There is currently no official confirmation regarding the launch in India.
