Hyundai India's upcoming new SUV is currently seen testing on Indian roads. Under development codenamed 'BC4i', this model is considered to be an SUV based on the Hyundai Bion. The car is likely to slot in between the Venue and the Creta, and may compete directly with models like the Maruti Suzuki Victoris.
A modern touch will be found in the interior
The cabin details of this SUV are clearer than ever from the new spy shots. The test car features a black and white dual-tone interior, while the dashboard layout seems to have been kept simple and modern. New Venue-like steering wheel and Hyundai's 4-dot logo stand out.
2 integrated screens appear on the dashboard. 1 of these can be used for the digital instrument cluster, while the other can be used for infotainment. The large cabin signals the company's focus on making travel more comfortable for the family.

The exterior design is also attractive
Externally, this SUV features Hyundai's new design language. The front can be offered with H-shaped LED DRLs, slatted grille and separate headlamp units below. Apart from this, wheel-arch cladding, roof rails, sunroof and attractive window frames are also seen.
The test model features a 360-degree camera and parking sensors. This feature can be a big advantage when maneuvering a large SUV in tight parking spaces. Traditional pull-type handles are used for the doors.

with petrol CNG Alternative possibilities
Final information about the powertrain is yet to be revealed. However, it is likely to get a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. The engine in the Creta produces 115 PS of power and 143.8 Nm of torque, and gets a 6-speed manual and IVT option.
Apart from this, the CNG option can make this SUV even more attractive. A dual-cylinder CNG setup is likely to be used to save boot space. However, the official information about the engine, features, price and launch is not yet clear from Hyundai.
