1. Do not delay in filing ITR

If you do business or earn from profession and your tax audit is not necessary, then 31st August 2026 is an important date. If you fall in this category then it would be better to file ITR by this date. At the same time, if for some reason the deadline is missed, then Belated ITR can also be filed till December 31, 2026. But for this you will have to pay late fees.

2. What are the new rules for FD

There is an important information or rule for those making FD. RBI’s new rules related to Bulk Deposit will not be implemented from September 1. Rather, these rules will come into effect from October 1, 2026. Under the new rule, the bank will have to give information about the interest rates applicable on bulk deposits of Rs 3 crore or more on its website.

3. Today is the last chance for LPG consumers too

If you also use LPG cylinder, then if you have not yet done Aadhaar-based biometric e-KYC, then get it done as soon as possible. Its deadline is considered to be 31 August 2026. Oil companies like Indian Oil, BPCL and HPCL are also appealing to their customers to complete e-KYC.

4. Rules for traveling by flight

There are some changes in the rules for those traveling in flights also. Changes in the prices of ATF i.e. fuel used in aircraft affect the costs of airlines. Its effect may also be visible on air ticket prices in future. Therefore, keep an eye on the tickets from next month, it is possible that the ticket prices may increase.

5. Change in milk prices

It is believed that some changes will be seen in the price of milk in Mumbai from September 1. The wholesale prices of buffalo milk is going to increase by Rs 9 per liter. After this, now the new rates of milk have reached Rs 102 per liter.
