New twist in ‘Black Deer’ controversy, Amit Jani claims – Govind Namdev received threat, questions raised on Shera too

New Delhi . Govind Namdev, who is playing the role of a lawyer in the film Kala Hiran, based on the black buck controversy related to the life of Bollywood actor Salman Khan, had claimed that he was surprised to see the teaser of the film, because the teaser that was released was quite different from the story for which he had shot.

Shera threatened?

After this, the film’s producer Amit Jani fiercely targeted Govind Namdev on social media and also sent him a legal notice. The notice demands a public apology from Namdev and a compensation of Rs 50 lakh to the production house.

  • After sending the legal notice, Amit Jani claims that Govind Namdev may have received a threat from Salman Khan’s bodyguard Shera. Amit said – Either he has received a threat, Salman Khan’s wife must have called him and said that son, you are jumping too much. Or they might have thought that the money was received from there, the payment was made, the check was also received. Now why not get into the good books of Salman Khan too.

In a social media post, Amit also said that he will go to Jodhpur and seek cooperation from the Bishnoi community.

Amit Jani claims- Govind Namdev had read the entire script.

Amit Jani says that Govind Namdev was given the entire script of the film to read. Not only this, before getting the script he had also read the synopsis of the film.

Amit Jani further said- After reading the script, he stayed with us for five consecutive days. Kept reading the script day and night, sitting in the vanity van and hotel room. When he was playing the role of the lawyer of Bishnoi community in the courtroom, did he not know against whom he was fighting the case and whom he wanted to punish? Who was the person standing there wearing a bracelet, Ayaan Khan? Did they not know this?

    Legal dispute over black deer

After the first-look poster of the film was revealed, Salman Khan’s team sent a notice to Amit Jani, demanding to stop the activities related to the shooting, promotion and release of the film. In response to this, Amit Jani had shared a video, in which he was seen tearing that notice.

Later Salman Khan approached Delhi High Court and demanded a stay on the release of the film. In his petition, he said that this film, based on the famous black buck hunting case of 1998, violates his personality rights and can affect the ongoing legal proceedings.

The court has issued a notice to the film producers and the next hearing of the case will be on June 19, 2026.
