Next-Gen Bajaj Pulsar Spotted Testing Before Official Launch
Pulsar has been one of the longest-running nameplates for Bajaj in India. In fact, the Bajaj Pulsar will be turning 25 years old this November. Over the years, we have seen the Pulsar brand grow with multiple models that cater to the needs of buyers across different segments. It now appears that Bajaj is working on the next generation of Pulsar motorcycles, and we have come across a new video in which an upcoming Pulsar model was spotted testing.
The video has been shared online by PowerDrift on its Instagram page. The video claims that the motorcycle seen here is the Pulsar N125, but it does not appear to be the N125. The test bike is completely camouflaged and, from the front, the headlamp design looks similar to what we have seen on the current Pulsar 125. It resembles an updated Pulsar 125 more than the N125.
In the video, we can see exposed telescopic front forks, a front mudguard, sleek LED turn indicators, and a reasonably sized front disc brake. The test mule is also equipped with a small crash guard, while the fuel tank appears muscular in design. It looks like Bajaj may offer tank shrouds to give the motorcycle a beefier appearance.
From the side profile, the overall design looks more commuter-oriented rather than sharp and aggressive like the N125. The test motorcycle also comes with footpegs that are positioned slightly towards the rear.
The seat on the test mule appears to be a single-piece unit with a slightly raised section for the pillion rider. The motorcycle gets side body panels, and the rear section also looks sleek and well-proportioned. It seems that the next-generation Pulsar 125 Classic could feature a monoshock suspension at the rear, as the conventional twin shock absorbers are not visible.
The test bike also features a redesigned exhaust with a silver or grey-finished tip. In addition, we can spot the chain cover, tyre hugger, and rear mudguard in the video.
The motorcycle gets redesigned tail lamps with LED elements. It also features split grab handles at the rear, and we expect Bajaj to offer a fully digital instrument cluster, similar to what is seen on most modern Pulsar models.
Since this is expected to be a next-generation Pulsar, Bajaj is likely to introduce a new engine as well. The motorcycle is also expected to be based on an all-new platform. However, exact details regarding the engine and platform are not known at the moment.
The bike seen in the video looks almost production-ready, and it is possible that Bajaj is conducting the final rounds of testing before its official launch.
The motorcycle, which is likely to be the next-generation Pulsar 125, is expected to be launched before the festive season this year. Some reports suggest that the launch could take place as early as August 2026.
