There is a lot of stir in Patna since morning, today Bihar will get a new Chief Minister, Nitish and Samrat are seen together in a car.

Patna: A big change will be seen in the politics of Bihar today. Nitish Kumar, who has been the Chief Minister for the last 20 years, is going to resign from his post on Tuesday. Along with this, the face of the new Chief Minister in the state will also be announced today itself. There was intense activity at the Chief Minister’s residence since morning. Senior JDU leaders like Sanjay Jha, Lalan Singh and Vijay Chaudhary came to meet Nitish Kumar. Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary also met the Chief Minister. The special thing was that Nitish and Samrat Chaudhary came out together in the same car, which further increased the stir in the political circles.

Earlier, Nitish Kumar along with Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary also paid tribute to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. After this the last cabinet meeting took place. Now in the afternoon the political developments will move forward rapidly. At 3 o’clock Nitish Kumar will go to Raj Bhavan and submit his resignation to Governor Syed Ata Hasnain, with which the tenure of the current government will formally end.

After this, there will be a joint meeting of the NDA legislature party at 4 pm, in which the name of the new Chief Minister will be finalized. To monitor this entire process, BJP has made Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan the observer, who will announce the name of the new CM. According to sources, all the NDA constituents—JDU, BJP, HAM, RLJP and RLM—will hold separate meetings with their respective MLAs to elect the leader. Special attention will be on the JDU meeting, where the new leader of the legislative party will be elected.

Amidst the political turmoil, BJP’s National Organization General Secretary BL Santosh has reached Patna, while the process of arrival of other big leaders is also going on. Everyone’s eyes are now on which new face will be handed over the command of Bihar. According to the scheduled program, the swearing-in of the new Chief Minister will take place at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday at 11 am.
