A young girl from Hyderabad is in trouble while working as a waitress in Oman’s Muscat. He complained that he had to work for about 15 hours a day. Food is not provided. Instead, there is brutal beating and torture. He even complained that he was not being paid.

It is known that the girl’s name is Shabnam Begum. He left for Muscat on March 26. He claimed that he found this job through a local agent in Hyderabad. A hefty salary was also promised. But after going there the picture changes completely. The young woman has been ‘imprisoned’ there for the past three months. He complained that he was being made to work for almost 15 hours a day without pay for the past three months. Not even being allowed to eat properly. Not only that, Shabnam also complained of physical and mental abuse. He also alleged that his mobile phone was taken away after he went to Muscat.

Recently, the young woman appealed for help in a video message to a politician in Hyderabad. It is known that he could not bear the torture and approached the Indian Embassy in Muscat. He complained that the agents took his passport. According to the politician from Hyderabad, “Shabnam was promised a job with a monthly salary of around 50 thousand rupees in Indian currency.” According to sources, Shabnam’s family has approached the Ministry of External Affairs S. Jaishankar to bring her back to the country.
